About This Course
This training course has been developed with 10 hrs, of classroom lectures and detailed notes and quiz to understanding and practical skills required to properly troubleshooting and maintaining fiber-to-the home (FTTH) networks. This training course is designed to give attendees a detailed insight into the fundamentals of FTTH GPON technology.
Throughout the course, attendees will start by learning the basic concepts of access network architectures including the different topologies, site types, fiber termination points and any factors influencing infrastructure deployment. During this portion of the course attendees will also gain more knowledge on the passive optics networks (POs), starting from the standard, learn how all the GPON elements communicate, including traffic control and quality of service, together with the associated terminology used on the field work
